A local church with a global vision
Church History
  • William A Helton pastored the church in the early 1930's.
  • Floyd French served as the second pastor in the mid 1930's.
  • Charlie Hunter was the third pastor from the mid 1930's until the early 1950's.
  • Pastor Killingsworth from Texas was the fourth pastor for about one year.
  • Bro. Singleton was the fifth pastor who served for 2 years in the mid 1950's.
  • Charlie Hunter returned to pastor the church for about 2 more years in the late 1950's.
  • Art Dunham was the 7th pastor, who pastored for several years. He left in 1966.
  • Paul C. Johnson was the 8th pastor, who pastored from 1966-1969.
  • Rev. Ron McCulloch is the current pastor of the church, who accepted the pastorate on November 23, 1969.
    • Since Bro. McCulloch became pastor, the limestone building was bricked, the auditorium was refinished, and the old gravel parking lot was replaced with a paved one.  Four acres were purchased for the growth of the church. Under the leadership of Pastor McCulloch, the church began hiring other men to minister at the Bible Baptist Church serving as the Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Bus Directors.
    • Former Associate Pastors were: Mike Sutphin, Kevin Corlew, Garland McGath, Dennis Mays, Bob Ward, Scott Miller, and Rob Siedling.
    • In 1980, a multi-purpose Youth Center was built for the Young People and housed the Whitewater Valley Christian School for 19 years.
    • For the last several years, we have given approximately $60,000 to world-wide missions annually.
    • Future plans are in progress for the building of a Family Life Center, which will house a full-size gymnasium.
